Winter 2007 /Spring 2008 (First Half of Season)
A good start, but Gorkys have some strong opposition for that Top Spot. An heavy early season loss to Neos shook confidence after a good start but after only one more loss, Gorkys remained undefeated for the remaining 5 game to stake them into second place. A strong team is being promoted and are hungry for their first title, and it promises to be a good second half to this season.

Winter 2007 /Spring 2008 (Second Half of Season)
Sloppy seconds has to suffice for Gorkys in a season where they were always just behind. Unable to count on results going their way, the age of Gorkys showed but so did their experience to hang on to second spot despite tough chasing pack. Two wins in the last week wasn't enough to knock the Morton Casuals off top spot, despite having beaten them in the penultimate week, because of the larger goal difference. However, like a bad smell, Gorky's just won't go away and they'll be back soon to claim what is rightfully theirs: Top Spot.
