Well another poor showing by Gorkys in the first half of the spring league. An arguably undeserved 3rd place belies a performance as shaky as the legs. Solidarity is needed and needed fast. A lack of Shane Taylor in the team is very, very telling and a -1 goal difference points to a lack of defence that was always a Gorkys strong point. Has the Eagle flown from the Eagles Nest or are they just a bunch of chickens? Next half will tell.

Yet again, Gorkys dodge the relegation bullet but a new season promises a new format, a return to a single league means no relegation, but certainly nothing for middle table ignomy. It's all or nothing now, no trophies for second place and certainly not for fouth place, which the Gorkys seem to favour.. The Chinese consider the number 4 to be lucky. They also call the English "Men from Heroland". Lets hope that Gorkys can prove them right on both.
