With Dan “ACL” Roberts in goal the GFC had to keep their concentration defensively and produced a memorable display.

No Ben D and No Marwan so the squad comprised of Ruspoli, Roberts, Harding, Lally, Taylor and Healy.

Roberts did very well indeed throughout the night, not letting any howlers in and distributing very well indeed. Bladen probably would have saved 1 or 2 of the ones he let in but by no means were they clangers.

Gorkys needed to win both games whilst the Neopolitans had to lose a game to give the guys any kind of chance of taking the title. On the night it was the Neo's who once again proved that they were the better team. They won both of their games whilst the Gorkys could only fight for the runners up spot.
